I think I'd find it hard to justify the Porsche wheel given it's more than double the price of the wheel I bought for my race car, but I'm not sure if the P1 or WRC are too much of a budget option and I've heard mixed things about the BMW wheel. I may get into iRacing when I have more time over winter.
I drive a variety of vehicles, but almost always of the tin tops/GT variety (old and new) rather than single-seaters. I'm currently playing a mixture of games - Assetto Corsa and Project Cars 2 are the two used for my club's leagues, whilst I also play AMS2 and ACC once a week. I realise over time I'll probably end up with more than one, but to start with, I want something that's a good all round option. The bit I find most conflicting advice on, though, is which wheel would be best fit. I bought an Oculus Rift S upgraded to Fanatec CSL Elite LC pedals (massive upgrade!), and I'm after a substantial amount of reading and YT videos, I'm pretty much settled on a Fanatec Clubsport V2.5 base. However around three years ago I bought an entry level setup (Logitech G920 + Playseat) and this year substantially increased my interest in sim racing in the absence of real racing due to covid. So here's the context, I've been casually sim racing since the Geoff Crammond's GP3, but until the past few years I'd never had space for a decent setup and tended to prioritise money on other things. This includes promotion of YouTube or Twitch channels, an artist's social media pages, and leagues.
